2nd South-East European Congress of Ophthalmology (SEECO)

June 1 to 4, 2005, Sofia, Bulgaria

IEF Executive Director Victoria M. Sheffield and IEF Board member Dr. James P. Ganley, MPH, participated in the SEECO meeting in Bulgaria organized by this year's SEECO President and IEF Country Representative, Prof. Petja I. Vassileva. The meeting was held in collaboration with the annual Union of Bulgarian Ophthalmologists meeting.

Ms. Sheffield's presentation on the SightReach® Management program was very well received, especially by the foreign guests. The Union of Bulgarian Ophthalmologists honored Ms. Sheffield for her years of service with election as an Honorary Member. Dr. Ganley's presentation on submitting scientific articles for publication also generated great interest from everyone. Dr. Ganley traveled to Bulgaria as the Editor in Chief of Ophthalmic Epidemiology and kindly represented IEF while there. [ Back to IEF News ]
