Vision Atlas is a powerful tool for advocacy and knowledge-sharing. Starting on February 24 this tool will be available online with key data from the Vision Loss Expert Group (VLEG) and the Lancet Global Commission on Eye Health.
This platform serves as an interactive tool that helps the IAPB and the eye care development community present their case to policy-makers, incorporate accurate data-points for training, fund-raising, and other aspects that spearhead universal access for eye health.
The Vision Atlas includes a deep dive into the number of people affected by vision. It includes critical details around the magnitude of its impact, projections of vision loss, causes of vision loss, and its many social and economic impacts, among other helpful resources.
