IEF is a proud sponsor of the Prevent Blindness 9th Annual Focus on Eye Health National Summit! This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020, as a free virtual event. The Summit will include a variety of presentations related to this year’s theme, "An Eye to the Future.”
This year’s Summit agenda will recognize the importance of the year 2020 for vision – and look beyond this moment to the technologies, treatments, social impacts, and policies that will shape vision health in America in the coming decades.
Peter Holland, CEO, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, will serve as the keynote speaker, addressing the recent World Report on Vision from the World Health Organization. In addition, the U.S. perspective of the report will be provided by Victoria Sheffield, Vice President, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
