How can Muslims watch their brothers and sisters as well as their children being murdered and starved in Gaza without doing anything? Not even economic sanctions.
Why do you as the preeminent Muslim leaders in the MidEast do nothing? What will history say about you and the others who watch genocide without taking real action?

It’s a bleak statement issued by The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights: “Escalating atrocities in Gaza present an urgent moral crossroads and states must act now to end the violence or bear witness to the annihilation of the Palestinian population in Gaza – an outcome with irreversible consequences for our shared humanity and multilateral order.”

Some 52,535 have died, 70 per cent of them women and children, and 118,490-plus injuries as of last week.

World leaders watch and did nothing in past genocides such as the Holocaust, Bosnia, Darfur, Cambodia, etc. And then they expressed remorse, shame, excuses for not acting as they were condemned for it. The cry was NEVER AGAIN!

What will the world say this time to their children when grow and ask why they watched the killing, maiming and starvation of tens of thousands of children and did nothing. How would they feel if it was their children, would they have wanted help?

How any leader can watch the cruel, calculated, consistent genocide in Gaza and not act is beyond any definition of a moral, compassionate, courageous human being. It is not merely inaction and silence but also by definition complicity, the same as if one stood by on a city sidewalk as if a person severely beat a small child next to him o death and did nothing.

What country is going to have the courage to initiate a sanctions campaign against Israel to stop this genocide. It worked against the South African apartheid in the Nineties. It can worked again
now.
